Title: The Paradox of Treating and Triggering Inflammation
 
 
Learning Objectives:  Participants will (be able to):
  1. Discuss sarcoidosis and drug-induced sarcoidosis, including epidemiology, pathophysiology, and known environmental or pharmacologic triggers.
  2. Discuss the emergence and therapeutic role of biologic agents in asthma and other allergic conditions.
  3. Discuss the most commonly affected organs in sarcoidosis and their clinical manifestations.
  4. Discuss the diagnostic approach of sarcoid, including key imaging findings and histopathologic features.
  5. Discuss how to differentiate sarcoidosis from other granulomatous diseases.
  6. Discuss disease staging, treatment strategies, and important prognostic factors.
