Department of Medicine's Medical Grand Rounds Series
The Department of Medicine Grand Rounds Series is a weekly educational program designed to provide timely updates and in-depth discussions on a wide range of medical topics. These topics are selected based on a comprehensive needs assessment conducted among our learners to ensure relevance and impact.
This series also fulfills the State of Connecticut’s CME licensing requirements and offers ABIM Maintenance of Certification (MOC) points. Each session features a focused educational topic with clearly defined learning objectives and includes a Q&A segment to encourage interactive learning.
Grand Rounds are held every Thursday morning from 8:00 to 9:00 AM in Keller Auditorium, with a virtual-live option available. Please note that the series observes a 3–4-week summer break in July and a 2-week winter break in late December.
Our audience includes practicing physicians, medical residents and fellows, medical students, and other healthcare professionals such as nurses, physician assistants (PAs), and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs).
