GME Speaker Series Addressing Healthcare Disparities

The UConn GME Speaker Series Addressing Healthcare Disparities is a re-occurring educational program designed to provide timely updates and in-depth discussions on a wide range of diversity, equity, and inclusion topics in healthcare and medical education. These topics are selected based on a comprehensive needs assessment conducted among our learners to ensure relevance and impact. This series uses a combination of speaker presentations, followed by a dynamic discussion with a panel of identified experts that includes an interactive question and answer session.

Our audience includes practicing GME, UME faculty and staff responsible for recruitment, teaching, and evaluation of trainees.
