Chindhuri Selvadurai is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and currently serves as the Division Chief of Movement Disorders at UConn Health at UConn. Her training started studying Neuroscience at Wellesley College, then medical school at UConn Medical School, later with Internship and Fellowship in Movement Disorders at Yale New Haven Hospital. She serves as the Neurology Clerkship Director and Lead Career Advisor of Neurology, and is actively involved in medical student and resident education. Nationally, she serves on various workgroups with the American Academy of Neurology. Her academic focus is in movement disorders, particularly Parkinson’s disease and advanced therapies, with a strong interest in building multidisciplinary, team-based models of care and mentoring the next generation of neurologists.
