Title: A Diagnostic odyssey- Progressive Papular Rash in Immunocompromised Host

Learning Objectives:  Participants will (be able to):
1.  Construct a differential diagnosis for a papular eruption in the immunosuppressed host across infectious, inflammatory/drug-related, and neoplastic categories.
2.  Apply a differential-to-workup algorithm that splits skin biopsy specimens between histopathology and fresh tissue culture, and recognize the umbilicated papule as a red flag for disseminated deep fungal infection or nocardiosis.
3.  Describe the microbiology, epidemiology, species complexes, and five clinical syndromes of Nocardia.
4.  Outline the diagnosis, dissemination workup, and treatment of nocardiosis, including species-directed therapy, duration, and drug interactions in chronic kidney disease.
