Ritika Vankina, MD, MPH

Dr. Ritika Vankina is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at UConn Health, where she joined the faculty in 2020 as a classical hematologist with a clinical and educational focus on thrombosis, anticoagulation, and coagulation disorders. She is Co-Director of the Anticoagulation Clinic and serves as Core Faculty in the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship. Her work centers on cancer-associated thrombosis, perioperative anticoagulation management, and improving system-based care through standardized clinical pathways. Dr. Vankina is actively involved in teaching fellows, residents, and medical students and leads multiple educational initiatives in coagulation and thrombophilia.
