Dr. Stewart was born in Manhattan and received a BA from Colgate University in 2001.  He graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 2009 and completed both dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.   Dr. Stewart spent the early part of his career teaching at the University of Washington through the VA Puget Sound, as well as in private practice.  He joined the faculty at UConn Health in 2018.  His interests include dermatopathology, complex medical dermatology, treatment of advanced melanoma patients, and patient safety education.
