Maria Akiki graduated from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik in Lebanon. She is a PGY-3 Internal Medicine resident at the University of Connecticut Health Center with a strong interest in infectious diseases, with a particular focus on antimicrobial stewardship. She has matched into an Infectious Diseases fellowship.
