1. Explain the physiology of sodium–glucose cotransport and its clinical implications in glucose homeostasis.
2. Describe the mechanisms underlying the cardiorenal protective effects of SGLT2 inhibitors.
3. Differentiate the on-target and off-target effects associated with SGLT2 inhibition in the kidney.
