I grew up in Massachusetts and earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Rhode Island. During my undergraduate years, I worked as a Rhode Island Basic EMT for four years..

I attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. I then completed my osteopathic neurology residency at Garden City Hospital in Michigan, followed by a headache fellowship at the University of Michigan in 2014.

After fellowship, I spent six years in private practice at the Carolina Headache Institute in Durham, North Carolina, before returning to New England in 2020. I then worked at the Hartford HealthCare Headache Center for four years before transitioning to UConn Health in 2024 to help develop a formal headache program.

I currently live in West Hartford with my two rambunctious children, Ryan and Otis.
