Dr Narwal is an assistant professor in the departments of neurology and neurosurgery, a vascular neurologist and the medical director of the stroke program at John Dempsey Hospital. She went to medical school in India and completed her neurology residency at the University of Connecticut followed by a vascular neurology fellowship at Brown University/ Rhode Island Hospital. Her areas of interest include stroke in pregnancy and stroke in young populations.
