Meg Mitchell is the pharmacy clinical coordinator for pain management and palliative care at the UConn Health Center. She completed her PGY1 pharmacy practice residency in 2018 at UConn Health and subsequently completed a PGY2 specialty residency in pain management and palliative care, an interdisciplinary pain and palliative care fellowship, and a Master of Science degree in palliative care at the University of Maryland Baltimore. She practiced as a pain/palliative care clinical specialist for 5 years at the University of Kentucky in Lexington and developed the clinical pharmacy services in this specialty. In 2024 she came back to UConn Health with the goal of supporting the new palliative care service lines and developing clinical pharmacy pain services for the health center.
