Description
This journal article is part of a series of selected journal articles to help licensed physician faculty, community preceptors affiliated faculty, and APRNs of the UConn, meet the Connecticut Department of Public Health's relicensure requirements for Connecticut physicians in specified content areas. These content areas include behavioral health, cultural competency; domestic violence; infectious diseases (including HIV/AIDS); risk management (including prescribing controlled substances and pain management); and sexual assault. Regarding relicensure requirements for Connecticut physicians, please visit the DPH website for complete details.
CME credits will only be awarded to physicians who meet a minimum performance level of 66.7% or higher on the post-quiz administered at the end of the article. Each post-quiz may be retaken an unlimited number of times until successfully passed. Once passing the post-quiz, you must complete the CME evaluation and then claim your credit.
The maximum time associated with each article and its associated evaluation is one hour.
