1.  Describe the sonographic appearance and proposed pathophysiology of the whirlpool sign in testicular torsion.
2.  Analyze the diagnostic performance (sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV) of the whirlwind sign alone and combined with traditional ultrasound findings in a real-world pediatric cohort.
3.  Apply evidence-based interpretation of an isolated whirlpool sign to guide clincial-making and unnecessary surgical exploration.
