Dr. Humnah Khudayar is an Assistant Professor at UConn Health and a physician specializing in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Born and raised in Pakistan, she completed her medical education at Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. She subsequently moved to the United States, where she completed her residency training at Kent Hospital/Brown University and fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Dartmouth.

Dr. Khudayar is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses. Her clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of a broad range of pulmonary disorders and the care of critically ill patients. She values a thoughtful, patient-centered approach and multidisciplinary collaboration.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Khudayar is passionate about medical education and mentoring. She enjoys teaching medical students and trainees, with a particular focus on clinical reasoning, history taking, physical examination skills, interpretation and synthesis of clinical data, and effective communication. She strives to create a supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and lifelong learning.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Khudayar enjoys reading and cooking. She values spending time with family and friends and maintaining a balance between her professional and personal life.
