Christine Najjar, MD, MS, MHP, ABOM, is the founder of Food First MD, a metabolic medicine practice in Windsor, Connecticut. She completed her Primary Care Internal Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center and holds a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Columbia University, a medical degree from St. George's University, and a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from McGill University. Board certified in internal and obesity medicine and a Certified Metabolic Health Practitioner, she focuses her clinical work on the root-cause treatment of insulin resistance and metabolic disease using nutrition and lifestyle as first-line therapy.
