Dr. Aeschlimann is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the UConn School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at the UConn School of Medicine.  His clinical practice and research activities are in the specialty area of Infectious Diseases and are located at UConn Health John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, CT.

Dr. Aeschlimann’s current practice and research activities include: (1) optimizing the pharmacotherapy of patients on the inpatient Infectious Diseases Consult Service, and (2) the development, implementation, and assessment of impacts of antimicrobial stewardship initiatives on patient care.
