1. Review the etiology, pathophysiology, and clinical presentation of tethered cord syndrome, including associated conditions such as myelomeningocele, syringomyelia, and fatty filum terminale.
2. Discuss current diagnostic evaluation and surgical management strategies for tethered cord syndrome and related spinal dysraphism conditions, with emphasis on patient outcomes and indications for intervention.
3. Identify current pediatric neurosurgery guidelines related to tethered cord syndrome and associated conditions.
